I'm Sage!
Hi! I'm Sage Sedivec. I'm a singer-songwriter and author. I live on a boat in the Mediterranean Sea. I was born in California, and I moved around a lot as I grew up. I've never lived in one place longer than three years in my life. I moved to Bend when I was four or five and lived in a hotel in the Middle East for six months when I was about three.
My younger brother Cedar was born when I was four, and my youngest brother Shiloh was born when I was seven. My dad worked all the time, but I loved the moments I spent with him, especially our shared love for sweet treats. We baked a lot together. My mom is amazing; she has always supported me, she helps with all my creative progects, and is amazing.
I moved to England a little while after Shiloh was born, and that's when I started gymnastics and decided I was going to win a silver medal for the bars at the Olympics. Because of COVID-19, I was homeschooled in England and began piano lessons on Zoom with the most amazing teacher ever. She made piano so fun, allowing me to learn whatever songs I wanted and sing them. I even performed at two of her gigs. I never paid much attention to music, but I could tell it was part of me. However, I was completely focused on my gymnastics and was improving quickly.
However, life had other plans. My dad bought a boat, and we moved onto it when I was eleven. We sailed across the English Channel and into the Mediterranean. In Mallorca, I met a girl named Keira, who would change my life. She inspired me to write and do what I was born to do: tell stories.
I wrote a 60,000 plus word, over 200-page middle school fantasy book about me, her, my life, my friends, and my dreams. I finished it in only two months, but sadly, that was just the beginning. Then I had to edit it.
As for my music, I heard one simple song by a really famous singer-songwriter, and soon I became a huge fan of hers. I picked up a guitar that was in storage under my bed, learned to play using an app, and began to write. First, I refined an old song I had written about a girl who had been my best friend. Soon, I had written my whole first album and planned up to my fourth album.
My best friend forever (aka my Soul Sister) is named Lyla and we've been friends since before we were born. We founded a company and wrote songs together. We were always texted and while in England we lived together. Lyla always has been and always will be my best friend.
I enjoy listening to music and reading. I love baking and can make amazing chocolate chip cookies, as well as an instant pot chocolate cake that I have yet to memorize. I'm still trying to master doing the splits, but I can do cartwheels and handstands with no problem. I like writing, whether it's a blog, book, or song. I detest school (even English, and I especially hate math), but I enjoy climbing and surfing occasionally. I knit but rarely ever finish a knitting project. I finger-knit ropes all the time which usually end up super dirty and in my brothers room.
I am also super athletic and could climb stairs and go down slides when I was eleven months old. I was monkey baring before I was 2. I do aerial silks and gymnastics. I am also a free diver and dove 16 meters (about 50 feet) in October, 2024. I love doing things like surfing and climbing just not very often. I don't like staying on the path and would rather go explore. Swimming is something I love to do and mid summer on the boat I swim like 10 times a day.
So yeah, that's me!

This is the company I founded with Lyla: she will plan and book your trips for you
I hiked to the top of South Sister the third tallest mountain in Oregon when I was 5 years old. Without being carried once. Then I walked almost the entire way down (I was carried the very last bit). For more info press below to see the blog post my Mom wrote about it.
In October 2024, when I was 12, I free dived 16 meters deep at one of our anchorages. I used only fins and a mask. I had witnesses (we were with friends and my family was there) and it was filmed (see my Mom's Instagram link below). I went down beside a rope and touched the bottom of it which was 16 meters (about 50 feet).
Now this was freaky and awesome! I went with two really good friends and we had the best time on the car ride up. Seeing the launch ramp was SO scary because it basically dropped to nowhere. But once we were in the air it was an amazing experience and I would totally do it again!
I biked across England when I was 9 years old with my family. We biked 150 miles in 4 days as a family (with a 2 year old). Click below to read the blog post my Mom wrote about it. She also made a YouTube video on it: the blog post has a link.
